Description: A ground up Design-Build of 70 homes in 41 buildings (single family & multi family) for residential faculty housing for UC Santa Barbara. This all-encompassing project included all facets of work involved with a new development of homes, including coordination with municipalities and utility companies, design & permitting process, management of the entire building process and subcontractor trades. Newton Construction performed site concrete, including sidewalks & driveways, rough grading & final earthwork around completed buildings prior to landscaping, general labor, and finish carpentry. We are proud to highlight the project’s integration of sustainable building practices, with the development targeting LEED Gold certification, demonstrating Newton's commitment to environmental responsibility while delivering high-quality housing for the UCSB community.
